Update on how it look like..

My Final Product..

Hahaa.. Well this is the final product of my 1st tiramisu attempt. Hmmm, i guess that it still not bad... I was kinda worry what e out come was at the starting after complete. Think that it was pretty successful.

Everything was still quite ok, but just guess that it was a little too creamy... Maybe too much cream.. Hahaa..

Not to worry.. My second try will sure be much better.. =)

The overall comment that i received was still pretty ok.. Too bad that you wont have the chance to be the 1st one to try...

Work
After all these waiting finally here come the money.. This late afternoon, my big boss finally pass me a chq to deposit.. I was so worry abt this month payroll.. So worry about we wont have money to pay off the creditors.. Well all these worry are currently gone.. FOR THE TIME BEING.. Cause this chq could only last us till mid next month.

Time is running pretty short now for the company.. Seems like every single minute the company is spending money.. How i wish that the company would be able to earn more revenue and have lesser expenditure.. This kind of life in office SUCKs.. Even thought my colleagues are wonderful, but when the company has a cash flow problem.. DON't ever be like me and STAY...

Darling is finally coming back home.. Hope he's bringing something nice back for me...

Well it's a good start in the morning that i actually wake up at 10am.. Hahaa.. Alot much later then the normal time.. Happy.. But happy moment was too short.. I got to go sch at 1pm.

Lesson Lesson Lesson.. Why am i at the age of 24 still studying.. I feel so wrong... Well since i have already started.. I shouldnt have stop if i have not yet complete.

Well time passes very slowly during lesson.. But not really very slow.. Still something acceptable..

4.30.. School finally end...

My ingredient searching here i go... Bugis here i come.. Going to bugis for so many years.. I realise that it a small place but whatever things i need, it there... Hahaa..

INGREDIENTS for Tiramisu
2-1/2 egg yolks --> Bought at NTUC
25 g white sugar --> Have it at home
60 ml Marsala wine --> Need to find at Cold Storage Bugis

120 ml heavy cream, chilled --> Need to find at Cold Storage Bugis
225 g mascarpone cheese --> Bought at Toa Payoh Phoon Huat

235 ml strong brewed coffee, room temperature --> Using normal Coffee at home =p
10 g white sugar --> Have it at home
60 ml brandy --> Stealing my dad Premium X.O.
8 ml vanilla extract --> Got it at home
24 ladyfinger cookies --> Need to find at Cold Storage Bugis
8 g unsweetened cocoa powder --> Have it at home

Haha.. Above list on what the things i need in red. Just a few more things to go..

I got the sponge finger n cream easily.. but not my Marsala Wine.. It was the most difficult item to find... When i walk over to the wine shelves, there were more then a 100 bottles of wines.. HaiZ.. what else could i do then to search one by one.. Haha.. Searching & searching.. I couldn't find it myself, therefore i decide to go look for the staff over there to help me.. Wow, guess i was pretty lucky to get someone to help me.. I was asking do he know a wine that name Marsala.. He answer me yesh.. Keke.. i was so happy.. Here he go on helping me to look for it.. HAhaha.... The staff himself also cant find it.. and he went in to their staff system computer to help me..

YEsh..Yesh.. yesh.. Finally i got all my things.. Was very grateful that the staff from cold storage to help me.. after i got my Marsala wine.. It was that moment that i saw the tag that he was the Store Manager over at Bugis outlet... I was so lucky to get him helping me.. Many thanks to him that i will surely go back to get more things over there next time.. =)

Here i go on my way home to make my Tiramisu...

Now here's my DIRECTIONS
1. To make zabaglione: In the top of a double boiler, beat yolks and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth and pale yellow. Place over simmering water and gradually beat in Marsala. Continue to beat over simmering water until soft mounds form, 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer to a cool bowl, cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.

2. Whip heavy cream with 2 tablespoons sugar until soft peaks form. Fold in mascarpone and zabaglione. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

3. In a small bowl, combine coffee, 2 tablespoons sugar, brandy and vanilla. Arrange 16 ladyfingers in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of coffee mixture over each cookie. Ladyfingers should be soaked, but not crumbling. Spoon one-third of the cheese mixture over the ladyfingers, and spread evenly. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cocoa. Repeat layering twice.

4. Cover and refrigerate 5 hours before serving.

Hahaa... It doesnt look like one right.. cause it was covered with plastic bag.. I was too busy making it during the process that i forget to take photos of it.. Hahaa.. this was the final product in the fridge... Will be able to see the product at the tml when my brother will be the first to be the taster....

HaiZ.. Guess it was something that is beyond control.. Either i got to used to it or you need to change.. Don't understand alot of things that am i asking too much..

New Update

It has long since my last update... Reason being cause i have no time for updating.. Maybe it just a excuse.. But i totally agree at this moment... For the most important reason is that you are always beside that you know what is happening around me... Haha.. Kinda pointless..

I'm bore and rotting at home since yesterday..

Friday.. It's normally a day that i would choose not to stay at home.. Guess what... I'm really at home.. After work, i went to my sister flea market (Shaw Tower).. Going over not cause she really need my help but to spend time away... Around 7 plus she's done and we are ready to pack and go home.. Crossing over the road from shaw tower to the bus stop waiting for 107.. Haha.. The last bus was 1951 hour, looking at the watch that time to be 1952.. My sister say that we share try our luck, hoping we will still be on time. Guess luck was at outside.. The bus didnt came. Well, we got no choice but to walk over further down to the next station. Finally, after 20 min then next bus came.. Here we go on our journey home.

It was simply quite a boring and slow day for me... I rarely chat online with anyone.. Maybe cause you are not online.. You are at somewhere jungle that there was no internet access.. I got no msg from you neither..

Before time could reach 11pm, I'm already on my bed falling asleep without you.

Saturday.. Waking a little too early then i expect. 8am plus, i'm awake.. Looking around up in my room ceiling.. Empty.. Another day that i have no plans going on.

Deciding that since it is early then should have breakfast with my parents.. Went to bedok for breakfast at donnoe what hawker centre then way back home.. Was thinking and planning that where my next destination would be.. Maybe gym or maybe just stay at home..

Well at the end my final plan was clean up my room then change my bed sheet and wash my clothes..

After a long afternoon of cleaning.. I'm done with it. The room is clean and shine.. Haha.. but half of it only... Cause the other half belong to my sister that she don't clean.. I was tired after all those cleaning.. Hahaa... My best thing to do now was to take a good afternoon nap.. While slping half way thru my niece climb onto my bed & disturb me.. Haha.. Her mum immediately pull her away.. She was so naughty in the afternoon while i was cleaning, she was walking in and out of the room. Well, since she got her mum to take care of her, here i go to my la la land..

Wake up around 5plus.. I was thinking should i go gym or rest at home... I decide to go next time.. Planning what to do next..

Well i decide to go look for ingredient for e tiramisu.. Why i wanna make tiramisu cause of someone that look down on me. I may not do very well but i believe that i still can.. I gonna proof that person wrong when he is back in singapore that if other can, so can i..

Went down over to the bakery shop near my house to get the ingredient but guess what! I cant find a single thing i need there.. Lousy shop.. Never going to visit that shop again.. Well i decide to ask my dad to drive me to Toa Payoh Phoon Huat Bakery (Red Man).. I got my mascarpone cheese over there but not my sponge fingers.. They are sold out...

Guess i got to delay my plan on it..

Well here my Ingredients List (6 Serving)

Headache..

Don't know that there is something wrong with me? The past few months i always get headache very easily... These headache is killing me at a lot of times... It's so frequent that it may happen 3 to 4 times every week..

I wonder why my headache makes me feeling like vomiting.. SianZ..

Panadol now seems to be my best friend.. Eating panadol like we need to eat rice.. Seems so worried that i will eat to the point where panadol won't have the anymore effect..

I'm so sick of eating panadol .. I can eat up to a maximum of 10 tables per day...

Damn.. Anyone can cure headache..

Is there anything better then panadol that can stop headache?

Planning of Eygpt Trip...

Haha.. Was kind of occuppied by liping on the planning of egypt trip..

To lots of times, it is just kinda amazing that the way how internet can work and help people.. Just like tonight.. was actually doing quite alot of research on ticketing and land touring things for egypt tour for Aug..

There are just so many different websites that provide details that able to let us compare so many different pricing.. Just one click it can link to so many countries provider... Amazing..

Hai, today and yesterday was like so many "haiZ"...

Bad news from CEO then bad new from Colleagues.. One by one instead of being kena retrench.. They decide to resign...

Feel so sad.. Sad that people decides to leave GR.. Reason being that cause, they see no future..

Future now seems to be so far away for GR..

Feel so demoralise....

What a day... Not happy...

Hai.. Everytime when there is a company meeting.. there is just nothing good at all..

Well, it happen again today afternoon at 2pm...

Nothing.. Simply nothing..

Thinking of which maybe there will be was good news about some idiot investors that actually decide to invest in our company.. Ha, as expected.. Those rich people are just too smart... Nobody will invest into our company at this kind of times.. What the hell... Never expect when your company is already in a bad situation and will be able to get help from anyone..

Here come's again where it time that people get retrench.. This time there are 4 of them.. I have no idea who all of them are..

Dennis was one of them.. The happy fellow in our company.. One of the many people that I like to hang around with or talk to during office hours..

The guy that....

will always walk over to disturb us..
always brought food to treat us eat..
bring me magazine to read when I'm bore..
have the best dressing style in my company...
always sing and like to snatch microphone during KTV session...
have crazy ideas of what to do in office when there is spare time..
is so funny that can make the whole group of us to laugh until mad...
when we go shopping he will give you that you must have it look cause he knows that it suit you..

I think, i gonna miss him...
Or maybe i should say that everyone will miss him...

I just hate this kind of times...
Going true this retrenchment thing the second time doesn't feel good at all even though I still got my position safe.. I have nothing to feel happy about..

Having one friend gone during the 1st retrenchment.. NOW here goes the second one..

I don't feel like staying at this company.. The people there are just so wonderful that now they are one by one gone..

I miss those people..

Today.. on Cab

Again, i'm late for work..

Cab again.. But this time there was something different. The driver was an uncle around late 40s or early 50s..

Starting of my cab trip to work.. When time is just less then 15minutes.. Here he go start talking to me... Tell me everything..

He was telling me a story.. Saying that he actually just sent a china lady back home to her old town ytd. A place that she rightfully belong.. and asking her not to come back to singapore if she didn't manage to find a better job in singapore.. Don't how married cause good man are simply too hard to find. Even if you manage to find one good man.. you won't be able to have a happiness of forever... Ever thing is just good on the surface only.

Saying that he was not close to this lady (29yrs old as mention by the uncle).. Telling me that the lady is so young, normal looking, then that was not very close with her and yet that she went to his house to help this uncle in cleaning and washing his clothes..

He even mention to me that there was other lady who he has a close relationship with.. Then she had a husband.. and so no...

In my mind, i was wondering that why he would wanna to tell a stranger like me.. all this kind of things who i would actually don't bother at all...

Things around me just kept me always so surprise with so many things.. Not the surprise of getting presents but just unbelievable encounter.. May not be shocking to any other people but just me alone.

Not getting to understand, agree, foresee.. Things will just get out of hand even you think previously there was a mutual agreement and understand what it suppose to be done..

Ha, sad to say, they just don't seems to be right..

Haha... was at home today cause of bad flu since yesterday..

Watching TV on the repeat telecast of Shaun & Michelle Wedding..

So loving.. Althought it was very grand, but i believe that the best of all these are the love in between both of them..

Wedding is one of the most beautiful thing that can happen in our live.. A ending of single life and starting being as a couple...

Starting of a whole new world of life.. Doing a lot of things together.. Learning every mistake together.. Laugh together and cry together...

Most importantly, every things will do is together.. Meaning, we are no longer as alone... Every thing that I can think of is sweet..

Exams Coming..

Since long of my blog entry..

Hai.. It's already May liao.. Gege, exam is just 4 days away.. He still have 2 more chapter to complete.. Haha, he says that he just need 40 marks to pass... keke..

For me, my exams is coming.. Hai.. Still got a mountain of things to study... Jiayou.. If i'm going to fail again.. I guess i wont be studying liao.. Just to say too tired to move on if there is no process..

Extra butter Rice but can't finish...

More riceZzzzzzzzzz.. But you just can't finish... Bluff me!!

With the stomach that you always say that it just the size of universe, but now you tell me you can't finish it... ROAR sii...!!

Wahaha.. Went to Mathanan Fish @ Inuma (New Shopping Centre, Opposite Bugis Junction) last night.. We went there for dinner. We order a Seafood patter for 2..

Hahaa... Starting our meal with a soup which I forget what it is... Something cream, something... Wahahaa.. Gege, say that the soup is sweet... Hmmm... Weird..

Hai... After a few mouth of soup then he walk off half way to avoid me feeding him with more soup lor.. Sad....
-____- Gave me an excuse that he need to go toilet lor..

After waited a while of waiting for food, here comes our patter...

In normal case, most people they will think that "Wow, what a portion for two person"... Guess what..! My gege actually gave me that look that "chey... so small portion ar.. I, one person can finish it" Hai...

Hahaa, look!! Gege is using his muscular hand to squeeze lemon... Giving that look that he is so concentrate in doing it... Haha, squeeze the lemon till the skin is going off.. Wahahaa...

Somehow like the lemon owe his a million dollar that he is going to rib the skin off... Scary~


After a while of eating... Gege, ask the waitress to come over and ask how much do we need to pay for an additional of butter rice lor.. Lol, we didn't even finish half of it then he say he wants to add another one..

Starting a thought that he was really hungry, therefore, I didn't stop him from ordering.. Just that have this WOW feeling floating in my mind... Hahaa...

Here comes our Mountain of Rice... HaiZ...

LOok!! is so scary... so much... I don't think we can finish it at all.. HELP~~~

1st look of the rice is that i think it can feed 2 more...

2nd look is that it can feed not 2 more is 4 more...

At the end... we didn't manage to finish up the rice... We left it with a lot of rice and a lot of fries... Hai.... Waste food...

After dinner, we went back to Sim Lim to look for Jet..

Andy & his gf Jasmine was there waiting for us... Reaching office around 10plus then going home around 12plus.. Lol, all of us was like chatting so much that we didn't realise that time goes off so fast...

During the 2hours plus of chit-chatting.. We was like quarreling on the way that how IT programmers need to work and that no matter what they should still have a life to go on..

And not to work like a DOG or slaves for anyone...

Everyone belongs to themselves and not others.. Everyone is an individuals!!

Unbelievably, that Andy's gf is only 20 this year that he is 29.. Age is no limit... And that she is someone with very correct mind to think and work... Someone who is outstanding... Brighten by her at the day..

Maybe cause that she have been with Andy for nearly 5years and going through a lot of things that at her age a lot of girls don't...
